Our Story

Andrew and I were students at Brigham Young University when we met at a ward activity on September 4, 2011. He tapped my knee while we were sitting on a couch and started asking me questions. At first, I thought he was shy. He told me that he was starting law school this year and that he served his mission in Japan (I was like oOoOo J). He asked me out a week or two later. We went on a little picnic up in the canyon. We DTR-ed (and started dating officially) on October 4. After a whole month J of dating, we said “I love you” on November 4. I knew I wanted to marry the kid in December. Andrew and I went up to his family’s cabin in Colorado after Christmas. I had such an amazing time and I loved his family. Andrew proposed on February 4, 2012. I spent a feverish four months planning the wedding. Andrew spent a painful five weeks in Washington D.C. right before the wedding (we Skype-d a lot). We were married on June 8, 2012. And that is where our story begins…
